Introducing prophetic art
|
March 2005 sees the introduction of art as an option for students who want to pursue their artistic talent. Ollie Pengilley from Bath is our art tutor and he is also a student on our February school. Ollies Vision: Oliver Pengilley is a professional artist. You can visit his website at www.oliverpengilley.co.uk. Interview with Estelle Barbey Estelle you are gifted in music and art but you decided to take art as your option on the school, what were the reasons for this? I know that God has called me into prophetic harp, singing and art. I know that prophetic painting is the major one and that God is really targeting me in this area and therefore I want to pursue it. When I get the breakthrough in my prophetic art the rest will follow. What has impacted you so far in the teaching? The teaching on choosing life has really impacted me, when Pat spoke about choosing life, I realised that I had always refused what God had spoken over me, I had reused life and therefore refused to acknowledge and pursue the gift of art God has given me. So I decided to make a choice to live and break the agreements I had made with the enemy and since then God has really been working in my heart. I was extremely worried about painting in front of people, feeling vulnerable and feelings of anger, but I have had real breakthrough already. I have been handing these feelings over to God and I feel I have been given freedom to just paint for God and not worry about people around me. Question: Lord what are your thoughts about this art? Answer: I love it, I love a lot of it, I love how people express themselves. I love their new ideas even when they totally forget all about me. I just love human beings, the way they think and draw and paint, I am fascinated by human beings. I created them and I love them, human beings themselves are a piece of artwork and they know it. |
