Even though Dave Markee and I are close to the same age, I actually grew up listening to him play with Eric Clapton's band, Henry Mancini, Frank Zappa, and many others. So it was with great expectation that I prepared to meet this "legend." I expected him to be a bit of a snob to be quite honest, and was quite shocked to find a humble, gentle worshipper of God, as well as a great musician.

I've been to his church twice now and can tell you by experience that Dave is a worshipping warrior - a prerequisite that enabled him to get a church started in the middle of London that has so much life within. Dave's book is the result of many years of "experience in worship" not just "theories about worship."
